The Bible teaches that we are to pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Prayer is the way we communicate with God. Through prayer, we share our needs with God, speak to God on behalf of others, and give thanks to God for his many blessings.
Prayer also involves listening to God in order to hear his voice in our lives. We believe that God hears our prayers, and as a church, we are here to support you through prayer. If you wish to submit your confidential prayer request, submit it below.
Opportunities of Prayer
At Central Union
Worship Services
Especially at the close of our worship, during the invitation, we open the door for anyone to come forward for prayer. This is a sacred time where burdens are lifted, lives are rededicated, and prayers are offered for strength, healing, and renewal.
Bible Study
At Central Union, our Wednesday Mid-Week Renewal is more than just a study hour—it's also a time set aside for prayer and spiritual refreshing. We begin each gathering by lifting praises and petitions to God. Before we dismiss, we close by covering the church in prayer.
Devotional Hour
Our Sunday Closeout Devotional Call at 5pm gives members an opportunity to join in from wherever they are. We always wrap up the devotional with prayer and the sharing of requests, ensuring that every voice and need is lifted before the Lord.
